Location: Fort Myers FL
Work for one of the largest electric cooperatives in the nation with more than 6,000 miles of distribution and transmission lines. This position is responsible for all phases of the design, coordination, and construction of protective relaying systems including transmission, substation, and distribution. Scope also includes project management and the development/maintenance of standards and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Relay Design
• Relay Application and Maintenance
• Project Management

Required Qualifications:

• BS Electrical Engineering (Masters preferred)
• 5 - 10 years engineering experience
• 5 years experience in power engineering profession
• 5 years experience in power system relaying involving design, installation &
  coordination
• Florida driver's license or ability to obtain one
• Some experience leading project teams and directing
  

Any of the following would be considered a plus:

• Masters degree in Electrical Engineering
• Licensed professional engineer
• Recognized as “expert” in the field of relay protection
• Experience w Schweitzer relays and new substation relay design, panel fabrication, and installation
• Experience in multiple areas of Electrical Engineering.
